Every Friday evening, our amazing volunteers head out — sometimes in one group, sometimes two — to find our homeless friends who, for various reasons, haven’t made it to the kitchen. These outreach teams bring food, drinks, and, just as importantly, compassion. It’s our way of making sure no one is left behind and that everyone is as well as they can be.

To help support this vital work, Andrew and Max have recently invested in three two-way radios and four body-worn cameras. These additions help us stay in touch with our outreach teams while also providing an extra layer of safety and reassurance for everyone involved — both out on the streets and back at the kitchen.

We’re proud of the care and commitment our volunteers show every week, and we’re always looking for ways to support them better as they continue this important work.
