This month begins with some fantastic news. Our very own Tracy has reached the final four in the BBC Radio Nottingham Make a Difference Awards in the Volunteer category.

We will find out if Tracy has been successful on 11 September at the Motorpoint Arena. From everyone at Tracy's Street Kitchen, we have our fingers crossed and wish her the very best of luck. Whatever the outcome, we are incredibly proud of her achievement.

We would also like to say a huge thank you to several organisations and new friends who have generously donated prepared food to support our work with the homeless community.

Firstly, thank you to Jacinda and her colleagues at the Leonardo Hotel for providing cooked and portioned meals.

Secondly, thank you to the catering student apprentices at Nottingham College for once again supplying us with some wonderful treats.

Next, a big thank you to the new Greek Brothers Restaurant for donating some amazing cooked meats. Unfortunately, I wasn't quick enough to get any myself!

Finally, our sincere thanks go to Jason and his family for stepping up and providing a sensational home-cooked curry along with a selection of delicious side dishes.

Your kindness and generosity help us continue supporting some of the most vulnerable members of our community. Thank you all for making a difference.
