It’s hard to believe that The Kitchen has been serving our community for ten years, having first opened its doors on 26 October 2016. We are incredibly proud of what has been achieved during that time.

It is impossible to say exactly how many people have received support and a hot meal from us over the years, but we know that the need has been great and we have always been there to help. We have never forgotten those who may be alone during the festive season, remaining open every Christmas Day and Easter Sunday to ensure that everyone feels valued and remembered.

We are also fortunate to have a dedicated outreach team, led by Olivia, who regularly check doorways, alleyways, and other locations to identify and support people who may be sleeping rough.

All of our hot meals, soups, and other food are made from scratch. Tracy works tirelessly to prepare an incredible amount of food, supported by our fantastic volunteers and the generous contributions of local businesses.

As an unfunded, not-for-profit organisation, we rely on the kindness and generosity of our community. If you would like to donate food, essential items, or make a financial contribution, we would love to hear from you.
