We will be out in Trinity Square on Christmas Day at 11.00 am providing a full Christmas lunch for the homeless and then delivering lunch to some of our vulnerable and less fortunate members of our community.

October 2021
On October 26th it will be the 5th anniversary of our organisation and we are still going strong with your help. Tracy is still the voice, face and heart of the kitchen whilst Andrew her co-founder is still very busy behind the scenes with day to day running and various projects. Also a special thanks to Max for all his help cooking and collecting/delivering goods to help make sure everything runs smoothly.

September 2021
We are hoping once more to serve a full Christmas lunch and provide goodie bags for the homeless on December 25th 2021, this will be our 6th Christmas day. If you feel you can help us in anyway by donating goods or through financial support please contact us at andrew.tracysstreetkitchen@email.com

May 2021
21st May saw our final street kitchen due to a number of factors including the council's housing of many of the homeless people within the Nottingham city centre in response to the pandemic. As from 1st June we have changed the direction of the organisation and will continue to support the vulnerable within our society by providing care packages to the wider community following referral to us by registered authorities.

Christmas 2020 and New Year 2021
We would like to thank everyone who made Christmas day a huge success, 46 homeless and disadvantaged people were fed, and received a back pack of toiletries, underwear, socks and of course a few festive nibbles. Our volunteers were out to make sure all Covid restrictions were observed and of course to join in the fun. We also helped around 40 families with care packages to make life a little better.

November 2020
We are busy preparing for the Christmas day meal which will be a brunch offering this year commencing at 11am. Unfortunately we are unable to offer a seated meal this Christmas due to Covid-19 and the need for strict observation of social distancing, but we will of course make the event as festive as we can.

September 2020
The changes to Government guidelines regarding Covid-19 are once again challenging us on the service we provide to our clients. We are currently supporting 70-80 members of the homeless community but numbers are expected to increase as the pandemic continues to affect us all. We are working within the parameters of the legal requirements to ensure we support both the homeless community and the nation as a whole through these challenging times.

June 2020
Since the beginning of the lockdown we have been working with similar groups and the local authority in feeding 40 homeless and rough sleepers who have been placed in temporary accommodation in a city centre hotel.

In the hotel they are provided breakfast but there is a rota to provide hot evening meals and sandwiches for lunch the next day.....we are currently doing Friday and Saturday.
In addition to the hotel we have been in Trinity Square Thursday, Friday, Saturday plus... -

We are continuing with helping feed (40) homeless guys who are temporarily housed in a hotel, dropping care packages off for around 20 guys who are still on the street and looking out for for vulnerable and disabled people in the community.

Tracy wins Karen Betts' Gift of Confidence prize 2018
Tracey was amongst four inspiring women that have been treated to top-to-toe pampering experiences by leading names in beauty and fashion as winners of Karen Betts' Gift of Confidence prize.

Michael Varnam Award
On 26th October Tracy was presented with The Michael Varnam Award for her outstanding work in the community, well deserved!

The awards were set up by Dr Michael Varnam, a Sneinton GP, who worked tirelessly to help disadvantaged people. The awards were started to help raise awareness of issues with health and inequalities and also to recognise those who dedicate their time and energy to making a change. Sadly Dr Varnam died in 2006 but the awards have continued in his honour.
