Secondly, we have a busy Easter as we will be out for our normal Friday (Good Friday) and then again on Easter Sunday providing Brunch. I am pleased to announce that I (Andrew) am happy to be the official food taster.

This year we will be out feeding our homeless friends on both Good Friday (18th April) and on Easter Sunday (20th April).

On Good Friday we will be joined by Hollie and a number of staff and residents from Willis Lodge Residential Home who will be bringing lots of goodies. This will take place at our normal time of 18.30 - 19.45 and hot food and sandwiches will be provided.

Firstly we hope you all had a great Christmas and New Year. As for the Kitchen it has been an extremely busy year ending on a high thanks to very generous food donations we were able to provide a full lunch, dessert, sandwiches, hot drinks and other goodies on both Christmas day and Boxing day.

As always we will be out on Christmas day by Marks & Spencer on Lister Gate (NG1 1DB) between 11.00 and 13.30 providing a full Christmas lunch with dessert and a vegetarian option too. Goodie bags will also be available for our guests.

It is the time of year where we start planning our Christmas lunch, we will be out by Marks and Spencer on Listergate on Christmas day from 11.00-13.00 to offer our extended family a full Christmas lunch with all the trimmings plus a vegetarian option.

On the 26th of this month it is 8 years since Tracy and Andrew first set up in Trinity Square with a couple of flasks and some bags of sandwiches. A lot has happened in that time, the homeless community continues to grow and we've lost friends along the way. However there is still the need for organisations like ours to provide a warm meal, hot drink, plus to provide a friendly face to listen, chat and be supportive.

As you are aware we feed the street homeless by Marks and Spencer on Listergate on Friday evenings from 6.30-7.30 and unfortunately numbers are increasing. If you or your company can help in anyway please contact us, the cold dark nights are creeping in.

This month we really need the help of you, your company and anyone who can help with fund raising. We are still helping around 50 families but we are now struggling with supplies we provide for the homeless.

As of June 14th 2024 we are now back out on the street feeding the homeless, we are sorry to see the increase in their numbers.
We are now out most Fridays 18.30-19.45 by Marks and Spencers on Lister Gate, providing a hot meal, dessert, sandwiches and in the summer months water.

We will be back out on the streets on a permanent basis from June 2024, currently we are waiting for our licence and permit applications to get the final seal of approval.

We were out feeding the homeless on Easter Sunday, it was a very successful day and we served 72 people. Everyone was well fed and left with sandwiches and Easter eggs galore.

You will be pleased to know that Christmas lunch (our 8th) went well, we fed a total of 62 street homeless and that compromised of a full hot lunch, dessert and sandwiches/chocolate for later.
On boxing day the owner and staff of the Red Bar and Grill in Mansfield provided 50 meals for the local less fortunate.
