As we end another financial year and look back we are pleased to have been able to have helped families, schools, the genuinely disadvantaged and some of the street homeless but the demand on our services increases especially with the ongoing cost of living crisis.

February 2023
This month brings good news as we are now working with GO4Greener waste management who have provided us with coffee, creamer, cereal and other goodies for us to distribute through our network to those most in need. We were lucky enough to be able to share some of these goods with a couple of organisations who we have previously worked with to maximise the benefits ....... Thanks to Tim and his team.

January 2023
We are pleased to report that we provided approximately 45 Christmas lunches for the street homeless on Christmas Day in the city centre, an extra special thanks to Tracy and Max for preparing and cooking the food, we would also like to say thank you to Andrew for his work behind the scenes liaising with all the regulatory bodies plus all our volunteers on the day helping it all run smoothly.

December 2022
As mentioned last month we will be out on Christmas Day in Trinity Square providing a full home cooked lunch and dessert between 11am and 1pm for Nottingham's street homeless, this will be our 7th year and we were out all through COVID.

We are pleased to report that we have been able to distribute food and toiletry parcels throughout the school holidays.

Tracy is pleased to announce that the Street Kitchen provided food (with the help of Bidfood and Hovis) for approximately 1000 people at a family fun day organised by the Long Eaton Rotary Club to raise funds for various on going programs. -

Arrangements have been made through the schools for families to collect food parcels throughout the holiday period. those disabled or vulnerable will have their goods delivered.

Tracy has now taken on two allotments with a view to growing some fresh produce, there's a long way to go but it's well worth the effort. -

This month sees the start of our drive for the summer holidays appeal to help low income families, socially disadvantaged and special needs members of the community.

We were out as usual on Easter Sunday providing a cooked breakfast, hot drinks and sandwiches for the homeless. This year (our 6th) was a great success and we were able to feed 40 plus people and would like to thank everyone for their donations and the volunteers for their time.
